Roots & Reflection Forum

The Roots & Reflection Forum is an enriching event organized by the I Am Black (IAB) Ministry, featuring distinguished speakers who are professors and authorities predominantly from Africa, the Caribbean, and America. This forum serves as a platform for engaging discussions on critical topics related to Black identity, social justice, and cultural heritage. By drawing on the expertise of these thought leaders, participants gain valuable insights and perspectives that foster a deeper understanding of the historical and contemporary issues facing Black communities. The forum aims to inspire reflection, encourage dialogue, and empower individuals to take action in their communities.

In August 2024, Rev. Danielle led a thought-provoking Roots & Reflection Forum on "The Role of Christianity in African Society." The forum examined the historical and contemporary impact of Christianity on African cultures, values, and social structures. Rev. Danielle facilitated discussions on how the faith has influenced community development, social justice, and cultural identity, highlighting both its challenges and contributions. Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue, reflecting on the complex interplay between Christianity and African heritage, and considering how this relationship can inform future actions for empowerment and unity within African societies.
